WSS¡õ-Series of bimetal thermometers
 
1¡¢Application

¡¡¡¡WSS¡õ- Series of bimetal thermometers are a kind of field detection industrial meter, which

can helpread the temperature in the dial of the gas, liquid and steam measured. They can be us-

ed in the field temperature measurement and control of the environment with low temperature in

such industries as petrochemical, mining, metallurgy, textiles, power,pha-rmaceuticals and foo-

d. These series of products have such superiorities as sensitive rea-ction, easy reading of the

temperature, shock resistance,no mercury poisoning, stable pe-rformance and long service life,

which can replace industrial glass mercurial thermometer, thus being widely used.
2¡¢Structure
 
¡¡¡¡A bimetal thermometer is composed of bimetal temperature-sensing element,support tube, con-

nection mechanism and indicator dial. Multi-coil straight spiral bimetal is used for the bimet-

al temperature-sensing element, with one end fixed and another end (free end) co-nnected with

the core axle.When the temperature changes, the free end of the temperature sensing revolves

with the core axle driving the indicator and indicates the temperature of the medium measured

in the dial. Bimetal thermometers can be divided into three types based on the structure, na-

mely, axial (angle type), radial (diameter) and universal type.They can be divided into four

types based on their functions, namely, ordinary type, live contact, remotely transmitting fu-

nction and night dial.
 
3¡¢Key technical data
 
¡€It is used in the environment in which the temperature is ¡À8¡ãCand the relative humidity
   is 5¡«95%.

¡€The length of medium shall typically be greater than 100mm to ensure the accuracy of mea-
   surement.(Not less than 120mm at 0¡«50¡ãC).

¡€The highest temperature of the dial is 400¡ãC.
